How does the Consultation at LIPOCURA® in Münster work?

During our initial consultation in Münster, we take the time to get to know you and your specific situation in detail. This enables us to better understand your individual needs.

Medical history
The first step is to take a detailed medical history, during which we discuss your symptoms and medical history in detail. Our experienced Lipedema specialists take plenty of time to understand your individual situation. It is important to us to create a basis of trust so that you feel safe and understood. We listen to you carefully and take all relevant aspects of your medical history into account.
Diagnosis
We then carry out various diagnostic procedures in order to make an accurate diagnosis. These include the pinch test, which we use to test the sensitivity of the tissue to pressure. We also use ultrasound to visualise the fat layers and differentiate Lipedema from other diseases. These examinations help us to accurately assess the progression of your Lipedema.
Planning
Based on the results of the medical history and diagnostics, we develop a personalised treatment plan for you. An important part of this planning is the creation of a 3D scan with the MyLIPOAvatar, which records important parameters such as body fat percentage and posture. We want to ensure that your treatment plan is optimally tailored to your needs, and at the end of the Consultation we will give you the LIPO BOOK to take home with you. It contains important information about Lipedema and helps you to become fully informed about your condition. You will also receive the LIPO journal in which you can document your progress and notes. This means you always have an overview of all the important information and your personal development.

We support you with the initial diagnosis and are happy to clarify an existing diagnosis or provide you with a second opinion. We also offer you a corrective consultation if you have already had liposuction that did not go satisfactorily.
