How does the consultation at LIPOCURA® in Berlin work? In our first consultation at LIPOCURA® in Berlin, we take the time to get to know you and your specific situation in detail. This enables us to better understand your individual needs. Medical history At the beginning of the consultation, we will discuss your current complaints and medical history in detail. This is crucial in order to gain an accurate picture of your health situation and to be able to plan the next steps on this basis. We deliberately take a lot of time, because the best individualised treatment plan can only be developed if the patient is fully focussed and an atmosphere of trust is created. Diagnosis We use various diagnostic procedures to accurately diagnose Lipedema and its severity. These include the lipedema pinch test, which assesses the tissue structure, and ultrasound examinations, which provide a detailed insight into the affected areas by visualising the fat layers. We identify problem areas and those that could cause difficulties in the future. We also assess the progression of the disease and analyse the tissue to determine the requirements for an optimal treatment outcome. This comprehensive diagnosis enables us to create a customised treatment plan. Planning Using the latest technologies, such as a 3D scan with the MyLIPOAvatar, we create a personalised treatment plan for you and record important health parameters such as body fat percentage and posture. To prepare you optimally for the upcoming treatment, we provide you with helpful tips, our informative LIPO BOOK and our LIPO Journal. The LIPO BOOK provides you with valuable information about your condition, treatment options and aftercare. The LIPO Journal helps you to document your progress and keep important notes for you. What should I know for my initial consultation with LIPOCURA®?
Private clinic The fee for the initial consultation is €100 and is usually not covered by statutory health insurance. Private patients can apply for reimbursement from their health insurance company, whereby the decision on reimbursement lies with the insurance company.
Cancellation fee We charge a cancellation fee for appointments that are not cancelled in good time or appointments cancelled without a medical certificate. Less than 48 hours before the appointment for the initial consultation: €30. Less than 28 days before the surgery date: 20% of the total surgery costs.
Medical history form Please bring the completed medical history form with you to your initial consultation at our practice. If you have any questions in advance or are unsure about the information, we will be happy to help you.

From Berlin main station:
Take the U5 in the direction of Hönow to Alexanderplatz station. Change to the U6 in the direction of Alt-Mariendorf and get off at Französische Straße. The walk to the practice takes about 5 minutes.
The MEOCLINIC at Friedrichstraße 71 is also easily accessible from Berlin Central Station. Take the U5 to ‘Unter den Linden’ or the S-Bahn to ‘Friedrichstraße’ station. The clinic is just a few minutes’ walk from either station. Our consultation and treatment locations are approximately five minutes apart
Take bus 100 in the direction of Alexanderplatz/Membecker Straße to the Französische Straße stop. The walk to the practice takes about 2 minutes.
The walk from Berlin main station to the practice takes about 20 minutes.
Taxi
The taxi ride from the main railway station to the LIPOCURA® location takes about 10 minutes.
Parking
There are several parking garages near the practice. The ‘Französische Straße’ parking garage is the closest and is about 100 metres away.
There are also several public car parks and underground parking facilities near the MEOCLINIC. As spaces may be limited, we recommend checking availability and opening hours before travelling or using public transport for a convenient journey.
