In our first consultation at LIPOCURA® in Hamburg, we take enough time to get to know you and your concerns in detail. This is the only way we can develop a comprehensive understanding of your individual needs and your specific situation.
Our top priority is not only to provide you with the highest level of medical expertise, but also to give you a deep sense of trust and security. We support you with the initial diagnosis, are available to clarify a diagnosis that has already been made or not made in the form of a second opinion and offer a corrective consultation if you have already had unsatisfactory Lipedema surgery. We are also happy to answer any general questions you may have. This should make it easier for you to decide in favour of liposuction and thus lead to an improved attitude to life. Through our comprehensive and empathetic care, we would like to pave the way to a life free of complaints.
What should I know for my initial consultation with LIPOCURA®?
Private clinic The fee for the initial consultation is €70 and is usually not covered by statutory health insurance. Private patients can apply for reimbursement from their health insurance company, whereby the decision on reimbursement lies with the insurance company.
Cancellation fee We charge a cancellation fee for appointments that are not cancelled in good time or appointments cancelled without a medical certificate. Less than 48 hours before the appointment for the initial consultation: €30. Less than 28 days before the surgery date: 20% of the total surgery costs.
Medical history form Please bring the completed medical history form with you to your initial consultation at our practice. If you have any questions in advance or are unsure about the information, we will be happy to help you.
Further documents Have you already received a diagnosis of Lipedema? Do you have any medical documents relating to your medical history? Please bring these with you to your appointment. This information will provide helpful support for further counselling and treatment planning.

From Hamburg main station:
Take the underground line S1 in the direction of Ohlstedt to the station Barmbek station. There you change to the S-Bahn line S21 in the direction of Elbgaustraße and get off at Langenhorn station. The walk to the practice takes about 15 minutes.
Take bus 275 in the direction of Poppenbüttel to the bus stop Borsteler Chaussee/Langenhorner Weg. The walk to the practice takes approx. 5 minutes.
The walk from Hamburg main station to the practice takes approx. 1 hour
Taxi
The taxi ride from the main railway station to the LIPOCURA® location takes approx. 30 minutes.
Parking
There are several parking lots near the practice. The ‘Borsteler Chaussee’ parking lot is the closest and is about 50 metres away.
