After successfully completing my medical studies at the Medical University in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, I began my career as an assistant doctor and lecturer in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During this time, I acquired extensive knowledge in oral and maxillofacial surgery and completed my further training as a specialist in oral surgery magna cum laude.
Following my work in Tashkent, I was selected as a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst – DAAD) to practice at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Cologne under the direction of Prof Dr W. Niedermeier.
I also completed a further degree in human medicine at the University of Cologne in order to expand my knowledge and prepare myself even more for the demands of the entire spectrum of surgical practice.
After completing my studies, I worked as a junior doctor and lecturer in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University Hospital of Cologne, where I developed my passion for major surgery, including aesthetic surgery, and gained practical experience.
My professional career in surgery continued at the Helios Clinic in Siegburg-Bonn, where I underwent comprehensive training in general, visceral and trauma surgery before specialising in vascular surgery. I continued this specialist training at Cologne-Merheim University Hospital and qualified as a vascular surgery specialist in 2018.
Since then, I have expanded my expertise at various hospitals as an honorary specialist, including the Oberschwaben Klinik Ravensburg, the University Hospital Wuppertal and the University Hospital Brandenburg.
As vein diagnostics was a natural part of my everyday work during all these years, I came into contact with the clinical picture of Lipedema at an early stage. Here I was able to expand my knowledge in the context of preoperative routine diagnostics, provide patients with conservative care, MLD and compression garments, but also accompany them before and after liposuction for Lipedema.
My ongoing interest in Lipedema surgery characterises my work as a specialist in vascular surgery and has enabled me to focus intensively on the treatment of Lipedema patients.
With a focus on the holistic treatment of lipedema, I am at your side in Cologne.
