I completed my medical studies at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. Early on, I pursued a path in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery – initially as a student OR assistant in a group practice for plastic surgery in Frankfurt am Main and through an observership at Berkei Aesthetic Surgery.
This was followed by positions as a resident in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery with Dr. Berkei in Frankfurt as well as in general and visceral surgery at the Hospital zum Heiligen Geist. From 2023, I deepened my plastic-surgical training at the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Hand Surgery and at the Burn Center at Sana Klinikum Offenbach. In parallel, I worked as a freelance associate at PAAU Medical Beauty Solutions.
At LIPOCURA®, my focus is on lipedema surgery and aesthetic body contouring.
Many of my patients with lipedema report pain, limitations in daily life, and the feeling of not being taken seriously. I respond to these experiences with great understanding and work with sensitivity, respect, and clear communication. Surgically, I use tissue-sparing, lymphology-focused liposuction techniques. Every treatment is planned individually and according to disease stage – with the aim of aligning function, silhouette, and well-being.
Scientific work has accompanied me since my doctorate at the AO Institute in Davos. Insights from research, publications, and presentations at national and international conferences continuously inform my treatment decisions.
