I completed my medical studies at the University of Zurich in 2011 with the State Examination. In 2014, I passed the USMLE. In 2017, I earned my FMH board certification in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. In 2022, I also earned a diploma in breast surgery, and in 2026, I completed an Executive MBA at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and ETH Zurich. My clinical training first took me to the University Hospital of Zurich, then to the Cantonal Hospital of Graubünden, and subsequently to the University Hospital of Basel.
After working as a specialist in a practice for plastic and aesthetic surgery in St. Gallen, I served as a senior physician at the Regional Hospital in Lugano and later at the University Hospital of Geneva. From 2023 to 2024, I also completed a fellowship in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery in Toronto. Since 2025, I have been a senior physician at the Olten Cantonal Hospital and, concurrently until 2026, worked part-time as a specialist at The Clinic in Zurich. Since 2026, I have been part of the LIPOCURA® team specializing in lipedema treatment.
Throughout my career as a resident and attending physician, I have gained extensive experience in the diagnosis, counseling, and surgical treatment of patients with lipedema. In the course of this work, I have come to realize how crucial an accurate assessment, honest communication, and a sensitive understanding of each patient’s individual situation are. For me, caring for women with lipedema requires not only professional expertise but also a deep understanding of the often long and difficult journey associated with this condition. This combination of medical care and personal support defines my work in this field and ultimately led me to LIPOCURA®.
At LIPOCURA®, the focus is on specialized treatment for lipedema. Our holistic approach takes into account not only the medical aspects of the condition but also the challenges it can pose in everyday life.
