Professional career

I completed my medical studies at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, and discovered my passion for plastic and aesthetic surgery during this time. As part of my practical year, I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in general surgery at Yale University in the USA.

After completing my studies, my professional path took me to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I specialised in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in 2016 under the guidance of the world-renowned surgeon Prof. Ricardo Cavalcanti Ribeiro. There, I was able to deepen my knowledge in areas such as aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring and liposuction. These experiences have shown me how crucial precision, aesthetics and an empathetic understanding of my patients' needs are in this profession.

After returning to Bogotá, I ran my own private practice from 2017 to 2019, where I focused on aesthetic surgery. Love eventually brought me to Germany in 2019, where I initially worked at the Clinic for Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic and Hand Surgery in Bayreuth until 2022. I then moved to the Nuremberg Clinic for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery for two years, where I continued to perform the entire spectrum of aesthetic surgery, especially liposuction. Since December 2024, I have been part of the medical team at the Malakoff Clinic in Mainz. Here, I contribute my international expertise and modern treatment techniques to ensure first-class care.
